Student Awards will be given to the best student oral presentation and poster presentation.

 

The Brown-Nichols Science Award was established in 2008 in honor of the significant contributions of Dr. Randall Brown and Dr. Frederic Nichols. The award is given biennially to recognize the contributions of a scientist for significant research and active involvement in facilitating the use of science to manage the San Francisco Estuary and watershed.

Creative Environmental Project Awards: Three creative projects that share knowledge, expand the conversation, and motivate action to improve the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta will be recognized by the Friends of the San Francisco Estuary board. 

Outstanding Environmental Project Awards: Three completed environmental projects that significantly benefit the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and San Francisco Bay will be recognized by the Friends of the San Francisco Estuary board.
